Rave reviews directed at Niagara Falls’ baseball diamond in response to upgrades

Words such as “outstanding” and “phenomenal” are being used to describe the $3.5 million worth of upgrades to Oakes Park in Niagara Falls. The baseball field is a showcase piece at the Canada Summer Games and features new drainage, a new infield and outfield, new lighting and accessible dugouts. The new drainage was put to the test on Monday when a torrential downpour inconvenienced play for only an hour.
